Judy loves what she does which is helping both buyers and sellers in
the greater Hattiesburg area. She must love it, she's done it for 28
years. Completing 10 million in sales production each year can only be

Judy & husband, Ric, grew up in Ohio, but moved to Mississippi in the
1970s, where the family has grown to two children, spouses, and 3
grandchildren. Judy has served as past president of her Board of
REALTORS and twice been chosen REALTOR of the Year.
Judy especially enjoys working with newcomers to the area. "I was new
myself and I remember the confusion and all the decisions. I love this
area and I know my enthusiasm is easily spread. Buying a house doesn't have
to be burdensome, so I work to make it a positive and fun experience."

Ric originally came to Mississippi with Bostitch, then a division of
Textron. Ric has been a successful Realtor since 1986. He & Judy
purchased the RE/MAX franchise in 1990. Ric has built the office to 20
top sales agents, who lead the Hattiesburg market in listings and sales.
One of Ric’s passions is fund raising for Children’s Miracle Network,
one of the RE/MAX philanthropy’s. For several years RE/MAX Real Estate
Partners has led the state in contributions which go directly to
Children’s Hospital in Jackson, MS. Hattiesburg residents use the
hospital more than any other city, with the exception of Jackson.
Ric specializes in residential and commercial sales and builds new homes
and office space. In his spare time, you will find Ric on the golf
course, on his lawn mower, or playing with his grandchildren.

Julie felt the way most kids do about family businesses, but her
parents recognized her talents and recruited her anyway! Her degree in
Hospitality Management from the University of Southern Mississippi
serves her well in this people-oriented business.
Licensed in 2001, Julie’s enthusiasm, computer knowledge, & sense of
humor have been a welcome addition to the Corts’ team. Julie frequently
assists first time buyers in finding a home and enjoys helping them in
the home buying process. She understands the importance of getting her
clients qualified and knowledgeable and accomplishes both with ease.
Julie married Pascagoula native, John Burks, in 2000. They have resided
in Hattiesburg ever since. They have two children. John teaches public
speaking at Jones County Junior college.

A native Alabamian, Misty came to the University of Southern Mississippi in 1996 as a first year student in the Honors College and fell in love with the Hattiesburg area. Misty has a MS Degree in Economic Development and worked for over 5 years as a research and marketing specialist for county government and non-profit organizations. She now puts this expertise to work for her clients and works as a property manager and residential sales agent.
Misty is an active member of the Hattiesburg Area Association of Realtors and was voted by her peers last year as the Newcomer of the Year. Misty’s husband Reid is a graduate of Hattiesburg High and owns a local lawn care service. Misty and Reid have a precocious 4 year old daughter “Mac” that keeps them on their toes. They are active members of First Baptist Church and love to participate in the children’s ministry.

Denise is a recent addition to the Hattiesburg area and to the Re/Max family. Denise is a Memphis, TN native and lived there until she graduated from high school. From there she moved to Mobile, AL and attended Spring Hill College and graduated with a B.S. in Environmental Chemistry.
She spent eight years working on land, water, and air assessments and remediation to help improve communities’ quality of life. Denise also owned a water treatment company that specialized in sales of whole house filtration systems with a special emphasis on drinking water. This same desire to help people is her driving force today. Although former this line of work tapped into her analytical skills she still longed for a more personal relationship with clients. Real Estate sales was the perfect solution…it combines logical business sense with a love of public relations.
